In the final shows of Dance Party USA on USA Network, sponsor support continues with a total sellout.
The show exceeds its initial 5-year contract by one year, but is part of a change in programming philosophy for the USA Network; however, it is "sold out" with advertising even on its last program.
Over the years, Dance Party USA delivers consistently higher ratings than Club MTV, and even though MTV tries head to head competition against Dance Party USA, Club MTV is discontinued before the Dance Party USA contract ends.
As of this date, On Air Entertainment Corporation and its executive producer, Michael Nise, has produced approximately 3,200 dance shows — most notably, 1628 Dancin’ On Air shows and 1456 Dance Party USA shows.

The Nise’s 3,336 episodes of young adult programming - a 145 show difference with Dick Clark's American Bandstand - was accomplished in less than 11 years; that's more than even Soul Train produced in 30 years.
Dancin’ On Air aired daily for almost 9 years. Dance Party USA aired for 6 years both as a weekly and a six-day-a-week daily. Thirty shows of Under 18 Not Admitted were produced, and One House Street aired 50 weekly shows.

Dear Michael:
I wanted the first letter I wrote as president to go to you, as I believe that without your help and guidance, that title would never have belonged to me.
This letter of thanks is very long overdue; I want you to know how very much you mean to me and how grateful I am to have you in my life. I cannot count all the things I have learned from you, and yet the thing that stands out the most is the confidence I now carry in all areas of my life.
I am a very different person now than I was when I started with Omni 2000. I was a quiet person, afraid to do many things, but you expected a lot of me and never seemed to consider that there might be something I couldn’t handle, Now, as I work for my own company, I am more confident I can handle things than I ever would have been without your training. Of course, this doesn’t mean I won’t still be calling you for help... I will!
Still, I want to thank you for everything. You have been there for me since the day we met. You have supported me in everything I ever did, and helped me whenever I needed anything, whether it was in my personal or business life.
Most of all, you gave me the courage to fight, and as a result I can sign this letter …

In the July 22, 2002 issue of T.V. Guide, with Kelly and Regis on the cover, the headline states, “together, Regis and Kelly dance the jitterbug (literally) every morning - and twirl through the ratings as if they were walking on air.” Maybe they were referring to Kelly’s start as she was “Dancin on Air,” as stated in this Star article:
Omni is featured in the July 9, 2002 edition of the STAR with an unusual “twist” ... the article is totally positive ...
primarily to observe concepts used technically in professional film production, leading to the establishment of another division of Omni 2000, Inc.
An article just discovered confirms that Nise Productions, Inc. was in the forefront of the 900 number phone production business with an arrangement with television station, WKBS. On the first day, the phone company registered over 40,000 busy signals before their lines blew out!
An interesting dance fact ... Bandstand, with Tony Mameralla producing with Horn and Stewart, began on October 13, 1952. Dancin’ On Air began airing one day earlier - 29 years later on October 12, 1981.
An amazing dance fact ... the total number of Dancin’ On Air and Dance Party USA programs produced in 11 1/2 years total 3,206; add to that, 52 One House Street, and 30 Under 18 Not Admitted programs and Michael Nise has produced an overwhelming 3,288 television dance shows - compared to the 2,938 American Bandstand programs produced in 33 years by Dick Clark -- calculation does not include the Bob Horn - Bandstand days

Michael bids farewell to Mike Jerrick who hosted “Good Day Philadelphia,” and will now accept a position with Fox Network.
An amazing dance fact ... the total number of Dancin’ On Air and Dance Party USA programs produced in 11 1/2 years total 3,206; add to that, 52 One House Street, and 30 Under 18 Not Admitted programs and Michael Nise has produced an overwhelming 3,288 television dance shows - compared to the 2,938 American Bandstand programs produced in 33 years by Dick Clark -- calculation does not include the Bob Horn - Bandstand days.
